Around That Corner, 2000
Video (VHS NTSC), 4 min, loop, color and sound.

Untitled, 2000
One wire cable from the ceiling of the room to the floor.
The wire cable is an attempt to build in its verticality a reference to New York’s skyscrapers.

Born 1971 in Klagenfurt.

He started painting privately. He attended the Technical College-Engraving
Department in Ferlach 1985-1990. In 1991 he joined the class of Prof.
Attersee. He stopped after three months and decided it was more fun working
alone. At the time he was painting in an expressive way until he ran out of
space to store the large canvases. In 1996 he started a series of
architectural paintings. In 1998 he went to Paris and was very impressed by
the work of Richard Rogers, especially the Centre Georges Pompidou. So he decided to
intensify his pre-occupations with architecture.
In 1999 he joined the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, masterschool of
graphics, Gunter Damisch.
He can´t get into Architectural School because he didn´t have the educational certificate.
